Instagram stands as a widely-used social media platform globally, boasting more than a billion users each month. It offers the ability to share various content like photos, videos, stories, reels, and more with friends and followers. But did you know that you can also send disappearing messages on Instagram using a feature called vanish mode?
Vanish mode is a privacy feature that lets you send messages, photos, and videos that automatically disappear after they are seen or when you close the chat. It is similar to Snapchat’s main feature, but you have to enable it manually on Instagram. Vanish mode only works for one-on-one chats, not for group chats. You can only use vanish mode with people you follow or have recently chatted with.
